Payment, Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective date: 15 October 2026
1. Pricing
All prices are expressed in Australian dollars.
Prices displayed on our website exclude GST unless stated otherwise.
Published starting prices are indicative of the minimum advertised package price and may vary according to the agreed scope.
The final scope and fees will be confirmed in a written quotation or service agreement before chargeable work begins.
2. Monthly marketing programmes
Our standard ongoing marketing programmes operate on a month-to-month basis without a minimum fixed-term commitment.
The applicable monthly fee, service inclusions and billing date will be confirmed before commencement.
Each monthly fee covers the services and resources included in the agreed scope for that service period.
Additional work must be separately approved before being charged.
3. Advertising expenditure
Google Ads, Meta Ads and other third-party advertising expenditure is separate from MarketingOnWeb’s management fees unless expressly stated in the agreement.
The preferred arrangement is for advertising charges to be paid directly from the client’s own advertising account.
Where MarketingOnWeb is specifically authorised to pay third-party costs on behalf of a client, the written agreement must state the approved amount, billing method and any applicable charges.
4. One-off development projects
Website design, development, landing pages and integration projects are priced according to an accepted quotation.
The quotation will specify:
- The agreed deliverables.
- Total project price.
- Deposit, if applicable.
- Payment milestones.
- Delivery assumptions.
- Included revisions.
- Client obligations.
- Additional costs, if any.
Work may begin after the agreed initial payment and the provision of required materials and access.
5. Invoices and payment methods
Invoices will identify the services provided, fees, GST where applicable, payment due date and accepted payment methods.
Payment is due according to the accepted quotation or invoice.
We may issue payment reminders for overdue invoices.
Any late fees, interest or collection costs must be expressly agreed, lawful and proportionate.
6. Monthly cancellation
Clients may cancel standard month-to-month services by providing written notice before the start of the next billing period.
Cancellation ordinarily becomes effective at the end of the current paid period.
There is no undisclosed lock-in period or early termination penalty for standard monthly plans.
If notice is received after a new billing period begins, fees for that period may remain payable in accordance with the agreed contract and applicable law.
7. Refunds for ongoing services
A refund is not automatically available merely because a client decides to stop using a service after work has been performed.
However, refunds, corrections or other remedies will be provided where required by Australian Consumer Law or another applicable legal obligation.
If we fail to deliver a contracted service, the client’s rights and available remedies depend on the nature of the failure and applicable law.
Nothing in this policy excludes statutory rights.
8. Cancellation of one-off projects
Clients may request cancellation of a one-off project in writing.
We will provide a reasonable accounting of:
- Work already completed.
- Agreed non-recoverable third-party expenses.
- Payments already received.
- Work not yet performed.
- Any refund or balance payable.
Any amount retained must be consistent with the contract and applicable law and must not operate as an unlawful penalty.
9. Third-party subscriptions
Hosting, domains, software subscriptions, advertising budgets, licensed services and other third-party charges may have separate billing or cancellation conditions.
These charges will be disclosed where relevant to the project.
We will identify material external expenses before requesting approval.
10. Suspension for non-payment
Where payment is materially overdue, we may suspend affected services after providing reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy the overdue amount.
We will act proportionately and take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary disruption.
We will not use suspension to improperly withhold assets or accounts owned by the client.
11. Final handover
On termination and payment of properly due amounts, we will arrange reasonable handover of the client’s deliverables and account access in accordance with the service agreement.
Handover may include:
- Website files or agreed source-code access.
- Domain access.
- Analytics access.
- Google Ads account access.
- CRM records and configuration where transferable.
- Relevant documentation.
- Agreed exports of client-owned data.
Third-party licensing and technical limitations may affect how particular assets are transferred.
12. Disputes
If you dispute an invoice, please contact us promptly with details.
We will review the matter in good faith and explain the relevant charges.
You may contact info@marketingonweb.com.au or call 0480 018 356. See also our Complaints & Dispute Resolution Policy.
13. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Australian Consumer Law.
