Privacy Policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
MarketingOnWeb (“we”, “us”) is an Australian digital agency. This policy explains what personal information we collect through marketingonweb.com.au and our internal tools, how we use it and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
- Enquiry and Growth Audit forms:your name, business email, phone number, website address, the package you’re interested in and anything you write in the message.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, device type, approximate location and which buttons or forms were used. It uses cookies and does not tell us who you are.
- Calls and email: if you call or email us, we keep the details you give us so we can respond and follow up.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare your Growth Audit and call you back.
- To send a confirmation email when you submit a form.
- To understand which pages help visitors and to improve the site.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t add you to marketing lists without asking.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site: Vercel (website hosting), Twilio SendGrid (sending enquiry and confirmation emails) and Google (Analytics and Google Workspace email). They process information on our behalf and some store it outside Australia, including in the United States. We share information with anyone else only when the law requires it.
Google account data (internal tools)
We run private, internal tools that connect to Google services for accounts that we own and operate, including Gmail, Google Search Console and Google Analytics. These tools are used only by our own staff and are not offered to the public or to clients.
- They read, organise, draft and send email, and read search and analytics reports, only so our staff can manage our own business accounts.
- Google user data is stored only on our own computers, is never sold, is never used for advertising and is never shared with third parties except as needed to provide the tool, for security or to comply with the law.
- We don’t use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- You can remove the tools’ access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, or as long as the law requires. Access is limited to the people who need it, and our systems use encrypted connections.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
